Shaheeda Nusaiba Shafi’u Alhassan Kazaure

Shaheeda Nusaiba was born on February, 5th, 1994 at Kazaure local government of Jigawa state.  She attended Al-Iman Nursery and Primary School and attained her Secondary School Certificate from Zainab Secondary school. She was martyred whilst studying Computer Science at the Institution of Information Technology Kazaure, Jigawa State.

Nusaiba Shafi’u Kazaure was a young vibrant lady, a God-fearing and fully charismatic individual. Nusaiba was a simple and friendly individual who opposes the materialistic world. She was a perfect example of tolerance, steadfastness and sacrifice. She respects everyone she knows.

On 12th December 2015, Nigerian Army acted on the orders of President Buhari and brutally massacred thousands of people, including children, in Zaria using a fake accusation of “road blockade” as a justification to their inhuman action. Shaheeda Nusaiba Shafi’u Kazaure was among the victims of this genocide.

Shahida Nusaiba Shafi’u Kazaure attained martyrdom in Zaria, gyallesu. When the soldiers invaded the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, they did not only shoot her; they also buried her in a mass grave among other people. Before her martyrdom, she was an active member of Mu’assasatul Abul Fadl Abbas.

Her father, Alh. Shafi’u Kazaure, a well-known poet, was also martyred on the same day
