Khadija Yakubu O Muhammad, an active member of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria was born on 7th April, 1990. Her Father is Malam Yakubu O Muhammad and her Mother is Malama Sharifat Salihu. Both from Okene, Kogi State, North Central Nigeria and later relocated to Zaria. She is the fourth born with six siblings.
She attended Fudiyya Nursery and Primary School Zaria and Progress School Sabon Gari Zaria. She then proceeded to Delight Medical School and finally before her martyrdom, she was a final year student studying Computer science at Nigerian Institute of Leather Technology and Science Technology, Zaria. She memorized the Holy Quran.
Khadija is a member of Abulfadl Abbas Foundation and also among the heads of Al Mahdi Scout Nigeria. She became a role model for the young children of Al Mahdi scout.
She shared the same good morals with her sister Fatima. Their mother regularly says in their regards,
“I am proud of my children, they always make me happy by listening and abiding by my words. They mean everything to me. They are my happiness.”
Martyr Khadija was a Computer geek.
Shaheeda Khadija Yakubu O Muhammad attained martyrdom on 12th December 2015, at the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Yakub Zakzaky (H) in Gyallesu, Zaria during the attack of the Nigerian Army on Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his followers.
