Ahmad Yakubu was born on 20th October, 1993 in Zaria. His parents are Malam Yakubu O Muhammad and Malama Sharifa Salisu. Both are among the followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H). He is the fifth born in the family and has six siblings. Ahmad Yakubu attended Fudiyya Nursery and Primary School Zaria, Zaria International School, and Progress School Sabon Gari.
Martyr Ahmad is among the members of Abulfadl Abbas Foundation, under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. Because of his submission, he relocated to Sheikh Zakzaky’s residence to guard him and his family.
He is a brave, courageous and bold. He is also friendly, kind and jovial as well. He considers the material world valueless and worthless.
He was martyred at the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) on 13 December, 2015 when the Nigerian Army brutally killed 1000+ members of the Islamic Movement.
