Martyr Humaid was born on Tuesday 12th June, 2001, which is equivalent to 24/03/1422 after Hijira at Gyallesu Tudun Wada area of Zaria local government, Kaduna State. He was born into the family of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and Malama Zeenatuddeen Ibrahim. Martyr Humaid was the 9th and last child of the family he has 8 siblings which 2 are female and 6 are male.
He started his education in the year 2003 with a day care class. In the year 2004 he continued in same school for Nursery and primary education. He then moved to the Junior Secondary school section from 2012 to 2014 were he had his J.S.C.E. Before his martyrdom, Martyr Humaid was an SSS1 student at Dagama School MTD Zaria.
Martyr Humaid attained martyrdom on the 14/12/2015 along with his two elder brothers; Martyr Hammad and Martyr Ali Haidar at Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky residence Gyallesu, Zaria during the 2015 Zaria Massacre by the Nigerian army.
His other 3 elder brothers; Martyr Ahmad Ibrahim, Martyr Hameed Ibrahim and Martyr Mahmud Ibrahim were martyred during 2014 Quds Day Procession by Nigerian
